The interplay of shapes and colors has fascinated me lately. Shapes interrupted or changed by the shape near by. Colours stamped in place like a memory, a period of time. Mimics life really- all our interrupted conversations, life plans, chance encounters, meaningful relationships, best laid plans, pivots. While sometimes cut short, or changed- if you step back, I’d guess all those interruptions, direction changes will weave into a beautiful fabric of a life. The sometimes chaotic feeling of life, and its glimmers and swells of big joy all sit together. If each moment, each plan, each change of direction is marked by a color/shape, every person has their own personal tapestry/stained glass piece- full of beauty despite the unexpected lumps and bumps.
